From a photo, a sketch, or a broken part — to a finished part in your hand.
Custom 3D modelling and printing based in Geelong, serving Melbourne and regional Victoria. Send whatever you've got — a broken component, a drawing, or just a rough idea — and get a fixed quote back, usually the same day.

Three ways we turn an object into a part
You don't need a CAD file to start. If you can photograph it, sketch it, or hand it to us, we can model it.
Replacement & discontinued parts
A knob, bracket, gear, clip or housing that broke and isn't sold anymore. We reverse-engineer it from the broken piece or a photo with measurements, then print a working replacement.
Custom parts from your drawing or idea
Have a drawing, a napkin sketch, or a concept? We turn it into an accurate 3D model — jigs, fixtures, enclosures, mounts, prototypes — and print it in a material that suits the job.
Short-run functional printing
Already have a model? Send your STL or STEP file and we'll print it in PLA, PETG or flexible TPU, with the finishing and tolerances the part actually needs.
How it works
Send what you have
A photo, sketch, drawing, or the broken part itself — plus any rough dimensions. Email or a quick text is fine.
Get a fixed quote
We reply with a firm price and a lead time, usually the same day. No account, no waiting on a callback.
We model, print, deliver
Approve the quote and we build the model, print it, check it fits, and get it to you — pickup or post.
What the workshop does well
- MATERIALSPLA for prototypes and light-duty parts, PETG for tough functional parts, and flexible TPU for grips, pads and seals.
- SIZEParts up to roughly 220 × 220 × 250 mm in a single piece; larger jobs split and joined.
- BEST FORFunctional mechanical parts — brackets, housings, jigs, fixtures, replacements — where fit and strength matter more than a glossy finish.
- TESTINGA prototype is printed and test-fitted before any final part is committed. Where it helps, simulation is run to show direction early, then confirmed on the real part by test fitting. Destructive testing, loading and impact, can be arranged for smaller parts at small scale.
- YOUR FILESSend us a file and it stays yours. Pay us to model a part and the model comes with it — you are not tied to us to have it made again. How this works.
Functional-grade FDM printing, with fit proven on a real part: we prototype, test-fit and adjust before the final part is made. Every quote includes an assessment of the duty, so where a part belongs in metal you get that recommendation at the quote.
Running collaborative robots? Custom gripper jaws and EOAT, made locally.
Part-specific fingers and end-of-arm tooling for Universal Robots, Robotiq and OnRobot setups — designed to your part, printed fast.
Three ways into the workshop
Replacement & discontinued parts
Broken or no longer sold — we reverse-engineer it and print a working replacement.
Jigs & fixtures
Workholding, drill guides and alignment fixtures, cheap to print and cheap to iterate.
Cobot gripper jaws & EOAT
Custom gripper fingers and end-of-arm tooling for Robotiq, OnRobot and UR setups.
What the workshop actually does
Each one covers what the service involves, what to send when you enquire, and how the material and process get chosen for the job.
Reverse engineering
No drawings and no supplier? The part you have is the drawing. We measure it, model it and print it.
Obsolete machine parts
A machine down for a component nobody sells any more. Remade rather than replaced.
Prototyping & iteration
No tooling, no minimum quantity — so being wrong costs a reprint instead of a change order.
Short-run production
Repeat batches from a kept model, with a firm lead time agreed at the quote.

Planetary gear set
A print-in-place gear train for a university robotics project. The file had no running clearance between the teeth, so it was adjusted, printed and tested twice.
Cycloidal gearbox — housing and front flange
A robot arm builder sent an STL and asked for a larger gearbox. Scaling it meant re-deriving every feature that mates with a bought bearing or fastener. Two complete sets printed.
Mini centrifugal pump — housing and full assembly
Modelled from scratch — no file, no part to copy — and designed so the customer could print the whole assembly on their own machine.
Robot motor housing
The customer's own design and a good file. Their machine kept failing halfway through the long run, so it was printed here in one go.
Industrial mount prototype
One of many prototypes of a mount for an industrial client. The plainest part on this page, and the longest-running job.

Built for businesses and workshops
The work suits an organisation with a part that has to function — measured, modelled, prototyped and test-fitted before it is called finished.
A good fit
Machines with obsolete parts and no supplier left. Jigs, fixtures and production aids for one specific job. Gripper jaws and end-of-arm tooling for a cobot cell. Mounts and brackets developed over several rounds. Short runs of a part you will need again. Prototypes that have to exist before a decision can be made.
Minimum order $75How the approach gets chosen
Tell us what the part does, what it touches and where it lives, and the material, wall thickness and print orientation are decided from that — PETG for tough outdoor work, PLA for accuracy under light load, flexible TPU for anything that grips or seals. Where a part would be better made another way, you get that recommendation at the quote, when it is still worth having.
How materials are chosen →The five jobs written up here cover an industrial client, a business one-off, a university project and two people building something themselves. Send a photo of yours and you will have a price, usually the same day.

The fastest way to a quote is a photo of the part or drawing, with a rough size — and tell us the machine or assembly it's for, because that usually decides the material and the print orientation before anything else. We reply the same day where we can. Minimum order $75. Based in Geelong, serving Melbourne and regional Victoria — pickup or Australia-wide post.
